Redmond Theatre is gearing up for five fabulous days of FRINGE WORLD Festival from tomorrow until Sunday, 9 February.
Four of the Festival’s hottest acts – CIRQUE AFRICA, DIVALICIOUS – DEFYING GRAVITY!,COMEDY HYPNOTIST MATT HALE: RANDOM ACTS OF MINDNESS and VIVIR FLAMENCO GUITAR & DANCE – will be on at the state-of-the-art theatre, (part of The HUB adjacent to Prendiville Catholic College in Ocean Reef), bringing a taste of Fringe to the greater Joondalup area!
FRINGE WORLD is the most popular annual festival in Perth and annually hundreds of thousands of people enjoy the incredible array of entertainment on offer.
It is the second time Redmond Theatre has been a Fringe venue, after comedy hypnotist Matt enjoyed a successful run at the venue in 2019. This year, three more acts have been added to the program, meaning more Fringe fun for residents within the City of Joondalup and adjoining northern suburbs.
Redmond Theatre representative Chris Greenwood said FRINGE WORLD Festival was a wonderful time to showcase the incredible facilities at Redmond Theatre and the staff were excited about throwing the doors open to the public for five fantastic days of Fringe fun.
“Having Matt Hale perform at Redmond Theatre last year was a real coup for us and we are delighted to have him back in 2020 while growing our Fringe program this year with three more wonderful shows,” Mr Greenwood said.
“Audiences from the northern suburbs are going to be blown away by the talent we have on offer and we are super excited to be showing them that you don’t have to drive all the way to the city to enjoy a taste of Fringe.”
Redmond Theatre is Perth’s most northern coastal Fringe venue, offering a unique combination of stunning ocean views and top festival acts. The proscenium arch design of the auditorium and leading-edge technology allows for an amazing audience experience while THE HUB also boasts a beautiful lawn that serves as the perfect place to watch the sun go down.
“We are really encouraging everyone to get down here to arrive early to enjoy a pre-show sunset drink and bite to eat from THE CANUCK TRUCK while soaking up the wonderful FRINGE WORLD Festival vibe,” Mr Greenwood added.
