Following the announcement of the joint venture between ACE Cinemas and HOYTS in August, ACE HOYTS Midland Gate is now open. This partnership brings together two exceptional exhibitors who have teamed up to continue providing the local community with access to big screen cinema experiences.
Officially opening today, Thursday October 5, ACE HOYTS is looking forward to welcoming customers both existing and new into its doors with a goal of enhancing the movie-going experience that guests know and love. Guests can also look forward to a full refurbishment in February 2024, with plans to bring HOYTS’ signature extra comfy recliners and immersive D-BOX Motion Recliner haptic technology to the cinema.
President and CEO of The HOYTS Group Damian Keogh expressed his enthusiasm on working with the ACE team to elevate the cinema experience at Midland Gate.

Guests will recognise a few changes in-cinema, with the introduction of HOYTS branded cinema experiences including Xtremescreen boasting the largest auditorium with big screens and spectacular sound, and HOYTS LUX with a delicious new menu for in-cinema dining.
Existing ACE Club Members will have been emailed with an automatic transfer over to the HOYTS Rewards VIP Loyalty Program. In addition, guests without a loyalty membership will be offered to join HOYTS Rewards VIP for free* for the first 12 months, saving them $15. To redeem the offer, guests can head into ACE HOYTS Midland Gate to sign up, giving them access to incredible savings such as 25% on movie tickets, 10% on food and beverages, free popcorn refills, birthday rewards, the ability to earn Qantas points and more.
Releasing in cinema this week, The Exorcist: Believer and Expend4bles hit the big screen.
