Imprint Films Press Release - April Imprint Asia Releases

Imprint Films have announced their April slate for Imprint Asia!

The first two titles are a pair of the most iconic entries in the Golden Princess pantheon in 4K UHD: HARD BOILED (1992) and THE KILLER (1989)!

Remastered in 4K UHD from the original 35mm negatives, these films are a must-have for any John Woo and Hong Kong action fan. Each exclusive embossed SteelBook release is housed in a Limited Edition Hardbox and accompanied by a Hardcover booklet, along with hours of Special Features.

Martial arts epic THE TOUCH (2002) drops on Limited Edition Blu-ray, starring Academy Award-winner Michelle Yeoh, Ben Chaplin, and Richard Roxburgh.

Sporting direction and stunning cinematography from Peter Pau, who won an Academy Award for his work on Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, the film follows acrobatic siblings who are called upon by a Buddhist sect to retrieve an ancient artifact.

The tale of determination BEIJING BICYCLE (2001) debuts on Blu-ray for the first time worldwide, “a portrait of modern urban life at its most brutal.” (L.A. Times)

Harkening back to Vittorio De Sica’s classic with a darker vision for its message, this acclaimed drama won the Jury Grand Prix Silver Bear Award at the Berlin International Film Festival, and follows a young country boy whose bike is stolen.

Each is limited to 1500 copies only.
