The trailer for the chilling new horror LEVITICUS was launched today in advance of its cinema release all across Australia from June 18, 2026.
The film is penned and directed by the brilliantly talented Adrian Chiarella and produced by the prolific Australian genre specialists Causeway Films (TALK TO ME, BRING HER BACK, THE BABADOOK).
LEVITICUS tells the story of two teenage boys, Naim and Ryan, who strike up an unexpected connection. But when their bond draws the attention of their community, a ritual is performed on them, releasing a violent entity that takes the form of the person they desire most - each other.
Debuting to widespread critical and audience acclaim at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, the film was subsequently acquired by NEON following a heated bidding war. The prominent US independent film production and distribution company has previously backed such acclaimed, bold cinema breakout successes as Parasite, I, Tonya, Anatomy of a Fall, Together and Longlegs. NEON will release the film widely across North America from June 19, 2026.
Maslow Entertainment is handling the distribution of the film in Australian and New Zealand in their latest collaboration with Causeway Films, following the shared breakout success of the local box office hit, TALK TO ME.
