Stop! That! Train! to screen in Australia on 13 August 2026

Due to huge public demand, Maslow Entertainment is thrilled to bring STOP! THAT! TRAIN to Australian cinemas from August 13, 2026, with advance screenings on Friday 7 August at selected cinemas.

From director Adam Shankman (Hairspray) and the producers of RuPaul’s Drag Race comes a cinematic experience not to missed, celebrating the kitsch, glamour and tongue-in-cheek humour of drag queens and the LGBTQIA+ community.

STOP! THAT! TRAIN! follows in the comedic tradition of original disaster movie spoof, Airplane! (aka Flying High in Australia), which is cited by the filmmakers as a key inspiration for the film. Drag Race icons Ginger Minj and Jujubee star as train stewardesses faced with a catastrophic “Stormaganza” threatening to derail their train, leading them to join forces with RuPaul as President Gagwell. Celebrity cameos abound in this camp comedy, such as gay icons Lisa Rinna, Sarah Michelle Gellar and many, many more.

Synopsis: STOP! THAT! TRAIN! follows best friends Tess (Ginger Minj) and DeeDee (Jujubee), train stewardesses who trade their dreary shifts on the Stank Rail for the glitzy Glamazonian Express. When a catastrophic “Stormaganza” threatens to derail the high-speed train and crash it into Florida, the duo in coach must join forces with the snobby first class attendants (Symone, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Marcia Marcia Marcia) and President Gagwell (RuPaul) to save the day in this wild ride of camp and comedy.
