Submissions are now open for the 2025 Adelaide Independent Film Festival

Submissions are now open for the 2025 Adelaide Independent Film Festival (AIFF).

The AIFF is accepting short films from any year and genre by local, national and international filmmakers.

The team has introduced 5 new categories highlighting the diversity in Australia and around the world. These categories include a specific focus on First Nation filmmakers and short films raising awareness about mental health. There are a total of 14 awards available, including Best Australian Short Film and Best Director.
