Vantra Film Festival Announces Official Selections for 2026


The inaugural Vantra Film Festival has announced its official film selections ahead of its one-night screening event on March 8, 2026, at FOMO Cinemas in Melbourne.

Founded by filmmaker Nathan Still, the festival celebrates bold, independent short films from emerging and established voices in Australia and internationally. Fourteen films have been selected by the festival’s judging panel to screen at the event.

The 2026 lineup includes new work from filmmakers such as Mark Samual Bonanno (Aunty Donna) and Adam Copeland, alongside a diverse range of independent storytellers making films for purpose. 

Vantra Film Festival aims to provide an accessible and supportive platform for filmmakers while offering audiences a curated cinema experience.
