Wall To Wall 2025: Festival Celebrates A Decade Of World-Class Street Art With Mordialloc Block Party

PRESS RELEASE

Wall to Wall Festival, Australia’s most beloved regional street art festival, returns for an unforgettable weekend of colour, creativity, and community this April. Curated and produced by Juddy Roller (Silo Art Trail, Collingwood Housing Project), this year's festival will showcase ten of the world’s most exciting street artists, who will double the street art precinct’s murals when they transform Mordi Village into a mesmerising open-air art gallery from Saturday 5 – Sunday 6 April.

One of the most exciting names in the industry, rising star Drez will bring his signature portal artwork to Mordialloc—inviting festival-goers to step inside a unique visual experience, whilst Smug, known for his stunning, hyper-realistic murals, will add incredible depth and detail to his work. Meanwhile, Minna Leunig, a Victorian-based artist and daughter of the late Michael Leunig, will offer her poetic and thought-provoking artistry and Lauren YS, an LA-based renegade known for boldly expressing queerness and identity will transform a vintage 1980s Porsche 911 into a psychedelic canvas on wheels.

Other notable artists contributing their works to the 2025 program include Bidju, a First Nations artist who combines contemporary styles with traditional motifs; Ellen Porteus, an illustrator, muralist, and animator with a hyper-colour aesthetic; Claudio Mantuano, a vibrant and playful local street artist from the Kingston area; Sofles, the graffiti lord and industry legend whose intricate murals push the boundaries of urban art; Jason Parker a fine artist with a vibrant emotionally evocative colour pallet; and Jasmine Crisp, a young and incredibly talented Adelaide-based painter who blends traditional oil painting techniques with contemporary themes.

Beyond the striking murals, Wall to Wall fosters a vibrant sense of community, offering activities that bring people of all ages together to celebrate and connect. The bustling block party will come alive with beats from a lineup of Melbourne DJs and food trucks serving everything from BBQ to burgers and chips to churros, presented by St Felix and Urban Ground. Alongside brews from Mordialloc’s own Wolf of the Willows, Melbourne’s beloved Stomping Ground, and Moorabbin’s 2 Brothers, audiences will be kept entertained, fueled and refreshed.

Street art enthusiasts can join guided art tours led by an award-winning expert, diving deeper into the creative process behind the works. Families and kids will find plenty of hands-on fun, with a giant paint-by-numbers mural, face painting, and interactive workshops. Shoppers can browse market stalls featuring unique goods from local businesses—including a St Felix Gin x Wall to Wall custom gin bottle designed by Drez. Meanwhile, art lovers can visit Mordi’s art space and gallery, Le Studio, where works from 12 talented local artists will be displayed.

“Wall to Wall has always been more than just an art event—it’s a cultural celebration,” said festival founder and Juddy Roller Creative Director Shaun Hossack. “As we mark our tenth anniversary, we’re celebrating the over 110 stunning murals that we’ve brought to life across four different locations, and the inspiring legacy that endures long after the walls are painted. It’s amazing to see the journey we’ve been on—from the underground scene that helped launch artists like Rone and Adnate, to now embracing all forms of creativity, including live music, interactive workshops, and so much more.” This year, Wall to Wall Festival falls on the final weekend of daylight savings and the start of the school holidays, offering the perfect chance for families, art lovers, and visitors from all over Australia to immerse themselves in the transformative power of street art.
