Natalia Laska on her tender and gentle documentary The Piano Tuner

Natalia Laska's tender and gentle, yet deeply humorous and charming, documentary The Piano Tuner follows her partner, Martin Tucker as he traipses across Australia, from Hobart to Darwin, tuning people's pianos. He visits farms. He visits family homes. He visits the elderly living by themselves. And he listens to their stories, all the while bringing their pianos back to life.

Andrew caught up with Natalia ahead of the films screenings at the Adelaide Film Festival on 16 & 25 October 2026 to talk about history, life, and pianos.
