Hi folks,
I hope you're keeping safe and sane in these last few days before Christmas.
I'm looking forward to catching up on some of the Australian films I've missed from this year before I wrap up my best Aussie films of 2025 list.
Even though Nadine's review is quoted on the poster, the trailer, and even the DVD, I'm still yet to watch Inside, so that's at the top of my list to view. I also need to catch up on Kangaroo, Primitive War, Journey Home, David Gulpilil, and a few others.
While I spend my downtime over the Christmas break catching up on Australian films, I'm eager to hear about what your favourite Australian films of 2025 are. Or, if you have a favourite non-Australian film (feature, documentary, short), book, or video game, sound off in the comments below.
I'll be sending out my list to subscribers (free and paid) in the new year and would love to include some of your shout outs in the post.
Thank you all for your support this year. I've been doing this for over seven years now, and I'm always grateful for the support that people from all over the globe give us on the Curb. It means more than you'll ever know.
Have a safe festive season. Look after each other. Take a moment to watch a film or enjoy a game or just relax with a good book.
Much love to you all.
