In My Blood It Runs Interview with Director Maya Newell

Andrew caught up with documentary filmmaker Maya Newell to discuss her new film, In My Blood it Runs. This is the powerful feature about 0-yr-old Arrernte Aboriginal boy Dujuan as he grows up Alice Springs, Australia, having to learn white culture, all the while being denied the opportunity to learn Indigenous culture and languages.

Check out where In My Blood it Runs is screening by visiting the website here, and while you’re there, head over to the ‘Take Action‘ tab to send a letter to your local MP to demand change for Indigenous Australians.

You can also book screenings of the film via Fanforce here.
