2019’s RevFest Wants You to Blind Date a Music Video

Perth’s Revelation Film Festival kicks off again in July this year, celebrating its 21st revolution around the sun. This years festival is looking to be a little different, with a really exciting opportunity for local filmmakers to stretch their skills by making a music video for local bands.

Some of Perth’s best local musicians have offered up a song or two – or in some cases, a whole album – for local filmmakers to make a film clip for. Some bands are keen to appear in the video, others not so much. The Revelation Film Festival panel will select the best of the bunch that will screen at a special gala screening during the fest.

If you’re a filmmaker, how do you get involved? Well, it’s pretty straight forward really. Just follow these simple guidelines and then you’ll be on your way:

The list of available tunes for filmmakers are available here. To pick a track, just email the competition ringmaster, Jen, here and she’ll let you know if it’s available.

4. Submit by June 1 at our website below via a portal coming soon.

5. Come to the screening!
